Data controller

The controller of personal data processed in connection with the use of syndyk.katowice.pl is Tomasz Zieliński, ul. Porcelanowa 19, 40-246 Katowice, Poland, email: biuro@syndyk.katowice.pl.

What data is processed

The site has no server-side backend that processes contact-form submissions. The contact form prepares a message and opens the user's default email application — the message is sent directly from the user's own mailbox to biuro@syndyk.katowice.pl, bypassing the website's server entirely. This means the data entered into the form (name, contact details, description of the matter) is never stored by syndyk.katowice.pl — it goes only to the controller's mailbox, exactly like an ordinary email.

If you contact us by phone or email, the data you provide during that contact (e.g. name, phone number, email address, message content) is processed in order to respond and, where relevant, to take steps towards a possible engagement.

Legal basis and purpose

Data provided for contact purposes is processed to respond to the enquiry and to take any pre-contractual steps, on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest and, where required, the consent given by ticking the relevant box in the form.

Retention period

Email correspondence is kept for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, and for any further period required by applicable rules (e.g., where an engagement is entered into, for the period required for professional documentation of a restructuring practitioner).

Recipients of data

The site does not use third-party analytics, advertising tools, or third-party form providers. Data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your rights

Data subjects have the right to access their data, rectify it, request erasure, restrict processing, request data portability, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).

Important safety note

Please do not send scanned documents, national ID numbers, financial data, or other specially protected data through the contact form or by ordinary email. Such materials should only be shared through a secure method arranged individually by phone or in person.
